Lukas Middendorf has been elected to the board of the German Feed Association (DVT), succeeding Dr. Antje Eckel, who has concluded her more than 17-year tenure on the board. Additionally, Middendorf will take over the leadership of the Additives Working Group alongside Doris Pulte and Dr. Mario Müller.
During the 25th annual conference in Berlin, DVT President Cord Schiplage praised Dr. Antje Eckel’s longstanding commitment to the board and other committees. Lukas Middendorf was unanimously chosen as her successor, bringing his expertise in animal nutrition to strengthen the Additives Working Group.
The DVT board consists of a four-member executive committee with President Cord Schiplage, Vice President Carolin Braun-Majer, and Vice Presidents Dr. Heinrich Kleine Klausing and Dr. Bernhard Wesseling, along with nine other members including Stefan Alius, Jürgen Aumann, Bernd Becker, Bernd Schmitz, Karl Schneider, Johann Stöfen Marie-Christine Thesing ,and Dr.Wilhelm Weisthoff.
